This new hire will work in a hybrid capacity atour Global HQ officein Hunt Valley MD. The Global Email Marketing Manager will report to the Director Digital Communications.

Position Overview

McCormick & Co.s Global Marketing team is looking for a motivated selfdriven Email Marketing Manager who will support the development rollout and of email and CRM marketing strategies. The candidate will thrive in a fastpaced marketing and digitalfocused environment. The position reports to the Director Global Digital Experiences and is part of a digital structure that supports Global creative production and digital experiences for McCormicks consumer brands and industrial businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Drive strategy and performance of consumer/customer engagement for email marketing program including acquisition activation and retention.
Develop and execute CRM and email marketing roadmap segmentation and content planning across consumer industrial businesses and ecommerce/directtoconsumer (DTC).
Manage distribution of all email sends against a planned editorial calendar and learning agenda that includes A/B testing of content layout and design
Responsible for managing CRM data insights and executing actionable plans that drive direct to business objectives
Support the roll out and evolution of CRM email engagement and personalization technology including analyzing customer/consumer paths and providing trigger communications strategies
Support the development of a digital measurement framework and track performance against CRM KPIs
Integrate CRM strategies into existing marketing and digital workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field such as Marketing Communications orInformation Technology
  • 57 years of experience in email marketing CRM marketing direct marketing database marketing and/or lifecycle marketing preferably in CPG environment
  • Experience using enterprise email marketing technology specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive business results including CRM databases mobile push notifications as well as web and inapp personalization tools
  • Experience driving ecommerce email marketing with sales conversion as the key performance metric
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques persona development and lifecycle management
  • Experience in marketing analytics and analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure how email is contributing toward business goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both external vendors and agencies as well as internal Marketing and IT teams
  • Ability to clearly translate technical matters and webspeak to other partners within the organization.
  • Ability to give creative direction for both visual design and copy that results in engaging and onbrand deliverables
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment where multitasking and time management with ontime delivery is critical to success
  • Ability to continuously learn and adopt new customer engagement strategies and technologies such as email mobile apps loyalty programs gamification etc.
