An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join our Lantmnnen Unibake team at our office in Pantelimon Ilfov.
Reporting to Chief Accountant you will contribute to the efficient functioning of the accounting operations of the company including monthly closing of financial books in full compliance with legislation (tax accounting etc. and internal policies.
This is what you will do:
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting activities including General Ledger InterCompany VAT and Tax reporting transactions Inventories;
- Maintain robust accounting control procedures to ensure a solid internal control framework accompanied by documentation;
- Perform monthly reconciliations for tax return purposes: e.g. reconciliations of sales/purchases journals with GL;
- Be part of monthly closing process and perform reconciliations for all general ledger accounts;
- Propose enhancements to accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency;
- Participate in annual financial audits by providing supporting documents and information to auditors;
- Ensure all necessary supporting documents are archived to comply with fiscal/statutory regulations.
