About Us
Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
Safely operate a mixer truck to deliver concrete products to customer sites. Work around the plant and operate equipment as needed.
Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
What Are We Looking For
Three years of experience with a valid class 3 or higher commercial drivers license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to work six days a week (MondaySaturday) and the occasionally on Sunday.
Must be able to work overtime as business and weather conditions warrant.
Solid knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations and trucking routes.
Be in good physical condition able to lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 50 lbs. Sit and stand for extended periods kneel climb ladders and walk on varied terrain.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate will pass an inperson interview and a road test.
Successful candidate must complete a preemployment physical examination and background check.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
