Job Title: Senior Data & AI Developer
Location: London/remote
Salary: up to 75k
Vargo is working with a fastgrowing fintech seeking an experienced Senior Data & AI Developer to lead complex data visualization AIdriven solution implementation and user interface design within our fastpaced Fintech environment. This role is wellsuited to professionals with a strong technical foundation and proven experience in developing datacentric and AIpowered applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of advanced data visualizations and user interfaces using Power BI Azure WebApps and PowerApps.
Architect and manage complex data models and relational databases leveraging tools like Dataverse SQL and the Azure tech stack including Data Factory Function Apps and Synapse Analytics.
Drive the implementation of AI technologies including Natural Language Processing (NLP) Machine Learning models and API integrations using Azure AI Search Document Intelligence and related technologies.
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide mentorship to junior team members fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Effectively communicate advanced technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in data visualization UI design and advanced usage of Power BI PowerApps Python Javascript TypeScript and Powershell.
Extensive experience with relational databases data modeling and Azures technical ecosystem including Data Factory Function Apps and Synapse Analytics.
Indepth knowledge of AI technologies particularly NLP and Machine Learning and familiarity with Azure AI Search and other related AI tools.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects and drive innovative solutions.
Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Requirements
Several years of experience in data visualization AI implementation or related fields ideally within the Fintech sector.
A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; a masters degree is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and domains.
