Job Description

TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesRE:2025 Special Education Summer Preschool Testing PositionsThe Special Education Department is seeking certified staff members to administer diagnostic testing during July 7August 7 2025 for incoming preschool students going through the special education evaluation process. Summer testing will be held MondaysThursdays 8:00am12:00pm.Positions: (up to)2)Special Educators(2)Speech/Language Pathologist(2)Psychologist(2)Occupational Therapist(1)Physical Therapist(1 Clerical ParaprofessionalQualifications: Evaluator must be a certified or licensed evaluator Preference will be given to individuals who are experienced and trained in testing procedures and report writing at the preschool level.Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluators will be requested to assess students based on suspected disability based on consent for evaluation and participate in scheduled team meetings. Schedules will be flexible based on availability of student and families. Some team meetings may be held virtually. Compensation: According to contract based on number of referrals/consents for testing evaluation and report writing hours should not exceed more than 3 Hours per student. Funding:LocalAll staff must have an updated CORI on file.
