Electrical Assembler

The Role
Assembles electrical equipment and subassemblies according to customer specifications by performing the following duties.
What you will be responsible for:
- Assembles electrical and mechanical equipment and their subassemblies according to customers needs following drawings and other written and verbal specifications.
- Drills taps or reams holes aligns components and bolts screws or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools; bends and installs electrical conduit.
- Strips shielding and crimps assorted wires to required work instructions.
- Trains or assists in the training of other employees in assembly processes.
- Regular attendance ability to arrive at work punctually ability to work onsite ability to work overtime
- Implement and maintain 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner).
- Responsible with handtools powertools and/or equipment in the area on daily basis to ensure cleanliness and functionality at all time.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others ability to deal respectfully with the public customers vendors other employees managers and executive management
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently ability to work in a fastpaced environment ability to interchange with others in the department
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge skills and abilities)
- Ability to add and subtract twodigit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
- Two years of prior assembly related experience.
