Set Up Mechanic/Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who is looking to learn and grow within a successful organization.

Who we are looking for
First shift mechanically inclined set up tech with desire for professional growth.
What youll be doing
- Set up and adjust side weld/wicket bag machines.
- Install and adjust feed mechanisms guide rollers tracks machine fittings and attachments.
- Troubleshoot machines to maintain safety and efficiency
- Work with department manager to create and implement new ideas that will increase productivity reduce waste and maintain all safety standards.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with clients customers vendors coworkers and supervisors.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the manager and/or designee.
Experience withside weld/wicket bag machinesPreferred
Manufacturing Experience Required
High level of measuring ability
Ability to read and interpret work orders proofs and spec sheets.
Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Our work environment & the physical demands of this position
Physical working area is multi shift high speed packaging operations which may be noisy and very warm (or very cold). Must be able to access any area inside outside and around facility including may need to ascend/descend stairways narrow passageways and layout of expansive operations to access production equipment which may be located at any level inside and/or outside the building. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work safely around machinery and chemicals read and follow equipment manufacturers specifications.
