Job Description
OVERVIEW:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct resident care including clinical personal nutritional and restorative care. This is an 1199 Union position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Help patients use the restroom
- Clean and bathe patients or residents
- Maintain patients hygiene and change bedding
- Turn reposition and move patients between wheelchairs seats and beds
- Serve meals and help patients eat their food
- Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
- Listen to patients health concerns and report details to an RN or Doctor
- Valid CNA License in the State of New York
- CPR/BLS certified
- 1 year nursing experience in a LongTerm Care facility.
- Fully vaccinated for Covid19.
