Job Description
A North Charleston law firm seeks an experienced family law paralegal to join their growing practice.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must will be selfmotivated and able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills organized and the ability to multitask
- Must be proficient knowledge of computers
- 3 years of SC family law litigation experience
- Criminal Law experience will be given preference
- Communicate well with others
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft legal correspondence
- Prepare pleadings for filing and drafting certificates of service/mailing
- Maintain case files
- Assist in billing
- Assist with discovery
- Monitor county dockets
- Accurate calendaring
- Other support duties assigned by attorney.
