We are seeking an experienced and strategic ManagerialAccountant to lead the daytoday financial operations at our growing law firm in Las Vegas. The primary objective of this role is to improve financial clarity enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decisionmaking. This includes overseeing the billing and collections teams optimizing accounts receivable management standardizing financial reporting and strengthening overall financial controls. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the firms partners and executive team to develop and implement strategies that drive financial performance and success.
This is an inperson role in our Las Vegas NV office. You should have the ability to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the firms objectives and core values.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports for partners and clients.
- Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow Management: Optimize accounts receivable processes and cash flow to ensure the firms financial health.
- Profitability & Cost Analysis: Analyze financial data to assess profitability and identify and implement costsaving opportunities.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and mitigate financial risks.
- Billing & Collections Oversight: Manage and lead both the billing and collections teams to improve processes reduce outstanding balances and increase cash flow.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (preferably a Masters Degree).
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar designation.
- 58 years of accounting/financial analysis experience preferably in a professional services setting.
- Law Firm billing experience a plus.
Demonstrated success in:
- Accounts receivable and highvolume invoicing.
- Implementing and optimizing billing and collection processes.
- Financial planning budgeting forecasting and financial modeling.
- Providing strategic financial recommendations to senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of legal billing processes revenue management and financial strategy development.
- Strong leadership communication and analytical skills with proficiency in financial software.
