The Psychology Department at Nebraska Medicine is recruiting a fulltime licensed (or license eligible) clinical psychologist to join our dynamic collaborativeand growing psychology service. Primary responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient evaluation consultation and treatment for patients from several multidisciplinary teams within the hospital including Bariatric Surgery Transplantation Services Oncology Psychiatry and Primary Care. In addition there are opportunities for research teaching and supervision of psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows. The Psychology Department has 10 fulltime clinical psychologists and is on the main campus of Nebraska Medicine which is the teaching hospital for the University ofNebraska Medical Center and the largest healthcare facility and only public academic health science center in Nebraska.

Duties: Clinical Psychologist
Provide evidencebased psychological services (e.g. evaluation diagnosis consultation and treatment) to patients within the organization and affiliated institutions using a biopsychosocial approach in concert with other members of the patients health care team for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic maladaptive or undesired behavior and/or facilitating adaptation to physical illness accident or injury.
Required Qualifications: Clinical Psychologist
Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA/CPAaccredited OR equivalent doctoral program with an APA/CPA accredited OR equivalent doctoral internship required.
Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication skills required.
Independent problemsolving skills and selfdirected work experience required.
Licensed or licenseeligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Nebraska or provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska with the ability to obtain a license in 24 months required.
