Travis Body & Trailer Inc. is seeking motivated and driven students to join our team as Manufacturing Engineer Interns for Summer 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in manufacturing or industrial engineering to gain valuable handson experience in a fastpaced production environment.
As an Engineer Intern you will work alongside our experienced engineering and operations teams to learn about manufacturing processes quality control production flow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety efficiency and product quality.
Support production teams in troubleshooting processrelated issues.
Participate in time studies workflow analysis and process documentation.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement projects.
Engage with production staff to learn daily operational challenges and support solutions.
Prepare and present a final project/report summarizing key learnings and contributions.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong interest in manufacturing processes and operations.
Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
Handson realworld manufacturing experience.
