Job Description

Come join our great schools. Poultney Elementary School and Poultney High School are seeking a Behavioral specialist. The person will be well supported by a group of professionals. We are willing to train the right person. Applicants must expect to work collaboratively with building leadership in supporting staff and students in the areas of socialemotional learning and behavioral challenges. This position is to support learning and behavior changes in students through the provision of training consultation and supervision. Expectations also include conducting functional behavioral assessments and the development of behavioral intervention planning crisis intervention continuous progress monitoring and participation and leadership in multidisciplinary teaming; monitoring effectiveness of individual and group interventions based on data collected; in addition to being responsible for assigned students regarding planning development and evaluation of programs to meet identified behavioral and social/emotional needs.
