Job Description
Position Open Until Filled
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements instructional programs that meet the needs interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials
- Develops lesson plans and assessments to effectively meet student needs and motivate studentsto be successful
- Maintains safe and orderly environment
- Communicates with parents/guardians
- Maintains complete and accurate student records
- Collaborates with school administrators other teachers instructional assistants parents and community members
- Monitors and assesses student achievement
- Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings
- Models professional moral and ethical standards in all interactions and job functions
- Performs related duties as assigned by the building administrator(s) in accordance with the school/division policies and practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure inMathematics
- Applicant with teaching experience must have an acceptable rating from previous employer
- Ability to effectivelyuse and integrate technology
2526 Salary: TBD
2425 Salary:$50500$95672
Educational Supplements:
Masters: 7 of base salary
BA 15: $750
Teacher National Board Certification: $2000
Doctorate: $2000
Additional Information:
This is a 10month/200 day position
