Below is our official job description: The Behavior Analyst has primary responsibility for patient treatment including supervision of the Behavior Therapist(s) and coordination of care with other members of the treatment team for his/her assigned caseload.The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the duties and responsibilities that will be required of the position but additional responsibilities may be required. Employees are expected to perform job related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. These responsibilities are carried out with respect and dignity and in accordance with McGrale & Associates LLCs policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssessment and Treatment Conducts skillbased preference and reinforcer and behavioral assessments as indicated by the presentation of the patient and makes appropriate recommendations for treatment based on results Prepares individualized treatment and behavior support plans Completes formal Functional Behavior Assessments for assigned patients twice per year or as data indicates Incorporates patient and caregiver/family preferences in developing comprehensive and meaningful plan of care Includes external stakeholders and other members of the treatment plan in the assessment and planning process Ensures goals and objectives are meaningful and relevant to the patient and his/her/their family/caregivers Provides support and direction to the behavior therapist(s) implementing the treatment plan to ensure interventions are implemented with fidelity Provides ongoing guidance to caregivers to ensure they are wellversed on the patients plan of care and identified interventions Modifies interventions as needed to match the pace of patient progress Prepares progress reports in cooperation of Lead Registered Behavior Technician/Staff Trainer Develops transition plan in coordination with the patients treatment team and supervises implementation of the plan Maintains excellent working relationships and satisfaction with all members of the treatment team including external stakeholders In preparation for discontinuation of services prepares discharge report detailing progress and clinical recommendations for continued post discharge success; reviews with patient and/or caregiver Manages and provides appropriate inperson dosages of services for patients and caseload Assists with performance evaluations for behavior therapists Follows company expectations as outlined in BCBA Responsibilities excel weekly & monthlySupport and Direction of Behavior Therapists Provides individualized training to behavior therapists to ensure they are prepared to succeed Provides feedback to Behavior Therapists on job performance including strengths and areas of growth Supports direct therapist with ongoing professional development requirements (e.g. BACB certification requirements) Provides training to new Behavior Therapists according to company policy Conducts competencybased evaluations as directedProfessionalism Adheres to the mission vision values policies and procedures of McGrale & Associates LLC Protects the privacy and security of the patients protected health or other personally identifiable information (PHI and PII) Maintains confidentiality of information regarding clients and their families corporate financial matters employees and other issues of a sensitive nature Conducts self according to the professional and ethical guidelines of the company as well as the licensing or certification boards and professional organizations that are consistent with ones degree and training Maintains licensure or certification or makes adequate progress towards completion of the requirements for licensure or certification Maintains ongoing communication with supervisor and colleagues. Discusses problems or concerns with supervisor as appropriate Provides management with own and supervisees schedules weekly and enters into Breakroom no later than Sunday Meets monthly and annual productivity expectations. These standards are currently but are subject to change by the supervisor Attends regularly scheduled staff meeting and other meetings as required by the Supervisor Submits/renders time accurately daily weekly or biweekly as per company policies Completes all documentation accurately and timely (e.g. session notes treatment plans performance evaluations etc. Participates in research projects or conducts research in areas relevant to care or treatment of patients or staff training Demonstrates effective organizational and time management qualities to meet necessary timelines Performs other duties responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the supervisor Director or other member of management. Assists in promoting a good public image of the McGrale & Associates LLC its patients and staff and demonstrates an understanding of the philosophy mission and values of McGrale & Associates LLC. Maintains positive communication with families members of the treatment team external stakeholders and supervisor by returning phone calls and emails within 24 hours; informing supervisor as soon as possible when unable to keep a scheduled appointment or other change of plans; informing supervisor immediately of any important concerns pertaining to assigned caseload Maintains appropriate professional boundaries when working with families and other stakeholders Follows BACB Ethics Code at all times.
