The Role Maths Teacher & Head of Year
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students of varying abilities
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
Oversee the academic and personal development of a year group
Lead a team of Form Tutors ensuring strong pastoral support for students
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to uphold school values and standards
Organise year group activities interventions and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
A degree in Mathematics or a related field with QTS
Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level with strong student outcomes
Leadership skills and the ability to support both students and staff
Strong communication and organisational skills to manage pastoral responsibilities effectively
