Job Description
Metric is looking to hire a Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Senior Inspector for work in Roadway/Bridge Projects with either FDOT or Miami Dade County
DaytoDay:
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout marking and checking engineering computations inspecting construction work and conducting field tests. Coordinating and managing the lowerlevel inspectors. Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
What You Should Bring:
4 years of CEI Inspector experience
High school graduate or equivalent
Ability to organize projects and tasks stay on schedule and meet required deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to meet common goals
Must have the Following Required Certifications:
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures lighting structures and traffic signal structures)
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level 1
FDOT Intermediate MOT
Nuclear Radiation Safety
CTQP Pile Driving or any Level II Certification
Florida Storm water Erosion and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification
