Position Summary
Material Handler is required to pack allorder typesaccurately and efficientlyensuring all parts/item quantities are correctly verified physically and systemically.Be able to use a computerand has knowledge of basic programs with the ability to use a handheld scanner and tote printer. Must be able to operate a pallet jack toload completed orders oversized orders along with shrink wrappingpallets andtable games.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operates warehouse machinery (Forklift Sit Down Electric Pallet Jack).
- Has basic knowledge of and is able to navigate through a wireless handheld scanner.
- Has the ability to use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions.
- Ability to look up items in ERP systems.
- Ensure items received are the correct part number and quantity required on the Bill of Material.
- Communicate via company email.
- Physically and systemically pack items.
- Scan serialized items.
- Create and affix labels using Zebra printer.
- Perform all required functions in WM system as trained.
- Complies with companys attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability and availability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand.
- Work responsibly and efficiently adhering to all safety rules and policies.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 12 years in a warehouse environment.
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent must be able to verify.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis and up to 100 lbs on occasion.
- Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time noise levels will vary but typically can be moderate to loud.
- Overtime work could be involved and will be required as needed.
- Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
- Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
- Use of arms hands legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting pushing pulling bending and twisting
