Job Description
The Materials Support Engineer (MSE) is part of the supply chain operations team and focuses on maintaining safe accurate and efficient operations across the organizational value stream. In addition to supporting daily operations MSEs help identify continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of warehousing transportation material handling inventory control and material flow. They are involved in a variety of projects and use creativity and problem solving skills to improve various aspects of safety accuracy material and information flow and operational efficiency. MSEs gain valuable experience working in crossfunctional teams and are also given opportunities to lead projects and small teams.
The goal of the MSE program is to provide a unique experience where individuals can explore different areas of supply chain develop leadership skills and build a foundation for launching a successful supply chain career path at Gentex.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related Engineering program
- Graduates in Dec 2018 or May 2019
- Experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations is preferred but not required
