About this role

A unique opportunity has become available for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Melbourne Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team

You will work alongside Partners who are dedicated to supporting your career development as an established M&A specialist while also enjoying a vibrant team culture and sustainable worklife balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice to clients from a range of industries on public and private company mergers acquisitions and divestments private equity strategic capital raisings and IPOs
  • Prepare financial models and valuation materials
  • Prepare and review detailed financial analysis to illustrate key business drivers and performance indicators
  • Active participation in business development activities including preparation of proposals building relationships with existing and target clients and establishing professional networks

Skills and experience

  • Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce Accounting or Finance or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
  • Significant experience gained in a corporate finance environment
  • Commercial acumen including strong financial modelling valuation and analytical skills
  • Problemsolving skills approaching challenges with a solutionsfocused mindset
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills including the ability to manage a highperforming team and build positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders at all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge or interest in learning data visualisation tools
