Job Description

The Yale School of Medicine invites applications for a fulltime faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Section of General Medicine. This will be in a clinical practice at Yale Internal Medicine Associates a patientcentered medical home academic adult primary care faculty practice. Primary responsibilities are management of a primary care panel of patients conducting inperson clinic session as well as telehealth sessions as well as all administrative work associated with the clinical practice. Teaching responsibilities include teaching of medical students and residents in the ambulatory practice setting. Up to 4 weeks of inpatient attending on a resident team may be required. Participation in the care of YIMA oncall coverage in rotation as well as attendance at regular meetings of the YIMA clinical team and participation in projects to improve quality of care. Participation in the academic activities of the Section of General Internal Medicine. Opportunities exist for other educational and scholarly work depending on the interest of the faculty member.
