Job Description
Great opportunity for aSenior Accountantto join a rapidly growingSAAS/Technologyfirm based inArlington VA. As a Senior Accountant you will be involved with accounting procedures and processes as well as assist with special projects pertaining to the accounting team such as system implementations. The ideal candidate has a CPA experience in corporate accounting excellent attention to detail and deep knowledge of US GAAP. This position will behybrid 23 days in officeand will have asalary up to $120kdepending on experience
Responsibilities:
Drive monthly close and other accounting processes
Maintain financial records reconciliations and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and analysis
Ensure overall financial compliance prepare for audits based on our region(s) and industry
Contribute to Finance initiatives and special projects
Qualifications/ Preferred Experience:
Experience working for a Financial Services or Technology company
5 years of professional accounting experience
Operational accounting experience a plus
Education/Certifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance or other related fields
CPA license strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to handle information confidentially
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially MS Excel
Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
