Job Description
The RF Payload Product Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy roadmap and features for RF payloads to fly onboard small satellites for a variety of missions for DoD NASA and commercial customers. The product manager will play a key role in business development and be responsible for understanding the customer needs and opportunities and developing proposals. The product manager will act as a bridge between business technology and design teams to ensure a product successfully meets customer needs and achieves its market goals. This position requires an experienced and a strong understanding of current and planned spacebased RF missions as well as business development support including customer meetings and proposals.
Basic Qualifications
Were looking for an RF Product Manager possessing the basic foundational skills such as:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering field from an accredited university.
- 12 years direct experience in related role working with satellites & RF payloads.
- Experience in electronic warfare intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance or communications satellite missions.
- Strong understanding of RF payload technology such as RF System on Chip software defined radios transceivers antennas and electronically steerable arrays.
- Strong communications and presentation skills.
- Experience in proposal development and cost estimation.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama area.
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Security Clearance and eligibility for Final Top Secret with SCI is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree or better in a related field.
- Experience development and operations of DoD or NASA satellite payloads.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126100.00 $227950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
