This position is a full time benefits eligible position. We are looking for an energetic knowledgeable certified school psychologist to join our current team of 4 full time school psychologists. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: * Conduct psychological assessments analyze data report data to team members and write evaluation reports with clear educational recommendations* Participate in the eligibility process for Section 504 and special education * Serve on school based multidisciplinary teams* Participate in district wide PLC meetings with other school psychologists* Serve as a consultant to school staff and provide leadership in the development of interventions that facilitate learning and positive change for students* Other duties as assignedSuitable candidates will have:* Knowledge of and participated as a team member in multitiered systems of support (RtI) * Knowledge of evidencebased interventions that target a wide range of difficulties given academic and behavioral deficits* Knowledge of databased problemsolving* Strong assessment and report writing skills* Experience in implementing state and federal special education regulations as they apply to eligibility for special education and related services* Experience in implementing state and federal regulations as they apply to eligibility for 504 services* Excellent organizational skills * Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and provide consultation to administration staff students and families
