Job Description
What youll be doing:
As our Senior Financial Accountant youll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across the Group and its subsidiaries. You will oversee financial reporting processes support senior management with financial analysis and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and AIM regulations.
In addition youll:
- Prepare the Group consolidation including oversight for the Group company monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate the external audit process and assist in the preparation of yearend and halfyear Group financial statements and subsidiary accounts
- Prepare budgets for the Group company only and for technical areas of accounting including sharebased payments leases and dilapidations
- Collaborate with external advisorson the Group and subsidiary tax computations and manage R&D development costs and taxrelated filings
- Manage the Group share option schemes including regulatory filings
- Support the payroll process through journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive the integration of newly acquired entities into the financial reporting process
- Work closely with the Company Secretary on regulatory reporting and governance matters
We want to hear from you if you:
- Are a qualified accountant with post qualified experience
- Possess a strong combination of technical expertise and communication skills
- Have an indepth understanding of IFRS
- Have knowledge of statutory reporting requirements
- Have experience working in a listed business
