Job Description

Job Title: Partnership Development Associate

Department: Career and Professional Development

Supervisor: Abby Ray

Starting Rate of Pay: $10.00

Hours Per Week: 68 hours

Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis.

Department Description:

Career and Professional Development (CPD) is dedicated to assisting students and alumni through all aspects of the career process from major exploration to internship and job search strategies to graduate school applications. CPD works with students in individual appointments conducts classroom presentations and plans careerrelated events.

Job Description:

The Partnership Development Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Office of Career & Professional Developments mission to foster meaningful connections between students and employers. This parttime student position will report to the Programs Success Manager and involves managing and enhancing partnerships utilizing CRM tools creating marketing and sales campaigns to inspire engagement and contributing to various projects and initiatives to strengthen the professional development opportunities for High Point University students.

Responsibilities:

Sales Pipeline & CRM Assistance:

Aid in moving current and prospective partners through the sales pipeline.

Collaborate with the team to strategize and implement effective partnership development approaches.

Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to organize and track partner interactions and relationships. Ensure accurate and uptodate records of partner communications and engagements.

Partnership Cultivation:

Research and identify new companies for potential partnerships.

Work to cultivate relationships with potential partners and assess alignment with the Offices standards.

Reach out to potential partners via phone or email to generate interest and engagement.

Create and assist with campaigns targeted at employer partners.

Contribute to the development of promotional materials and outreach strategies.

Internship and Job Opportunity Management:

Manage and maintain internship and job opportunities on Handshake ensuring alignment with office standards.

Regularly update and review job descriptions working with employers to ensure that the needs of students are met.

Attend partner meetings to understand partner needs and ensure mutually beneficial relationships.

Assist in maintaining and managing general inquiries through the employer relations inbox.

Event and Initiative Support:

Assist in project management for major events and initiatives including HPU in the City HPU Community Investors and the biannual Career & Internship Expo.

Represent HPUs brand and the Office of Career & Professional Development effectively with said events and the content about these events

Required Qualifications:

Current HPU student preferably a student who has completed at least one internship and has an interest in enhancing their customer service skills.

This role provides valuable experience in partnership and business development sales and marketing project management and professional communication making it an excellent opportunity for a student looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic and engaging work environment.
