Job Description

At Majestic Steel every coil every sheet every team member matters! We are seeking a Technical Support Intern to join our team! The Technical Support intern will assist in responding to helpdesk requests basic troubleshooting and special projects. You will play a key role in supporting technology making a meaningful impact on Majestic Steels daily operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to Helpdesk Requests: Provide firstlevel support to local and remote associates aiding in resolution of technical problems.
  • Troubleshoot: Support troubleshooting efforts for hardware software printer mobile device and network connectivity issues under supervision.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions within the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively on largescale deployment and configuration of new laptops and desktops upgrading to Windows 11 and complete additional jobrelated responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Current student pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field familiarity troubleshooting and support of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Skills & Abilities: Professional and friendly demeanor ability to clearly communicate technical information to nontechnical associates; detail oriented strong problemsolving skills with a commitment to learning
  • Additional: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work efficiently in office remote and warehouse settings

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Prior experience or internships in an IT support environment.
  • Basic understanding of mobile device support (iOS Android)
