Gees situated in Oxford city centre is an independent lively restaurant bar and terrace within a unique Victorian conservatory. Serving a Mediterraneaninspired menu using the best ingredients simply prepared and expertly cooked Gees remains loyal to its traditions of providing quality food and service in the most beautiful restaurant in Oxford.
With an ambitious expansion and refurbishment project completed in Spring 2022 Gees doubled in capacity with the addition of Gees Gallery an adjacent private dining space for up to 50 guests and Secret Garden; a covered and heated private terrace for up to 60 diners.
The Oxford Collection is an independently owned group of luxury hotels and restaurants in central Oxford comprising Gees Restaurant & Bar the Old Parsonage Hotel Parsonage Grill the Old Bank Hotel and Quod Restaurant & Bar.

As a Deputy Senior Restaurant Manager you will support the Senior Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations; upholding our guestfocused lead by example culture motivating and inspiring the management and frontofhouse teams to perform at their best.
Key Requirements of the Deputy Senior Restaurant Manager:
- Passion for hospitality excited by food wine and restaurant culture with highlevel attention to detail and a positive cando attitude with a keen willingness to learn.
- The ability to lead inspire and motivate people.
- Excellent at interpersonal communication coaching and teamwork.
- Wideranging experience of dining in similar restaurants.
- Highlevel written English strong IT literacy.
- Previous management experience within a similar role is essential.
We offer a sensible shift pattern across a 45hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with 2 days off) with an OTE of up to 44000 per annum depending on experience including noncontractual tronc (service charge).
Parttime hours may also be considered.
