Operations Planner

Glasgow

What Youll Do

As an Operations Planner youll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:

  • Develop and maintain production and material plans identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.

  • Collaborate closely with team leaders program managers and buyers to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Manage capacity planning processes and lead regular production review meetings.

  • Support the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals of over 205 million.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Load customer demands into the Master Production Schedule.

  • Planner workbench activities to optimise efficiency.

  • Report on material availability job progress and inventory management.

  • Build strong relationships across teams and contribute to a culture of collaboration and mutual success.

  • Develop innovative solutions to process challenges always aligning with company objectives.

Your Skills & Experience

Were looking for someone with:

  • Strong MRP II planning skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment ideally with ERP systems.

  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Familiarity with complex bills of material and routings (advantageous).

  • APICS or Institute of Operations Management qualifications (desirable but not essential)
