Job Description

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • 15 years of demonstrated Process Engineering experience executing projects in the oil and natural gas or chemical industries.
  • Demonstrated capability as a Process Engineering lead for multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Comfortable and capable of using soft skills to address personnel needs and challenges.
  • Substantial experience of working in multidisciplinary projects and teams.
  • Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
  • Ability to provide leadership within mechanical engineer in addition to Process is preferred.
  • A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Process Engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Competent use of Process Engineering specific software.
    • AspenTech products (HYSYS Flare System Analyzer etc.
    • Honeywell Unisim products
    • BRE ProMax
    • Hydraulic modeling software
    • Other internal and external calculation tools and software
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:

Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET accredited university or college in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) status in Colorado and California

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience executing projects in oil refinery process units including working with technology providers.

Additional info:

  • This position will be based in the Englewood/ Denver CO area.
  • Salary: $145384$213800 annually commensurate with experience.

Purpose:

We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead the Process Engineering team. You will provide process engineering services to Worley and its customers including technical support and mentorship to others within the process engineering team. You will be responsible for overall supervision of the Process Engineering team. You will bring natural gas processing oil refining and/or chemical industry experience to specifically support Worleys clients in the US West Region.
