Job Description

As a Warehouse Apprentice youll be on the frontline when it comes to serving our customers and delivering the very best customer service and experience. The warehouse can get quite busy so there will be a variety of different people youll be interacting with.

Family run builders Merchant with 179 years of experience. We support both our local and national customers with a huge range of building materials. We currently have over 300 people within the business and we are opening a new branch this year. As part of our culture we pride ourselves on recruiting people not just employees. Every member of our teams have the autonomy to make a difference.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serving customers in the yard both manually and with a forklift (dependent on holding a counter balance license)

Loading/unloading lorries

Receiving and storing products from suppliers and dealing with associated paperwork

Housekeeping in the yard/warehouse

Supporting online sales both in preparing goods to be sent to customer and any goods returned
