This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Planning Lawyer seeking an opportunity to grow a UK focused practice whilst linking in with an international office network.
In this newly created role youll work as part of a cohesive team across a wide range of projects. The firm has enormous strength and depth in the infrastructure field and has promoted several recent high profile projects including HS2 and complex work on behalf ofNational Highways and Transport for London.
This is a varied role where you will deliver commercially astute advice to a breadth of stakeholders including local authorities landowners developers and house builders. As a senior member of the team youll play a key role in business development creating thought leadership internal strategic planning and developing others.
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:
- Currently operate at Partner level or be a Partner in waiting with a network and proven business development skills
- Be a capable leader able to manage tight deadlines and support others in achieving their goals
- Have an aptitude for delivering practical and sound commercial advice
- A proven negotiator who is focused on delivering positive outcomes for your clients
- A qualified lawyer with excellent all round technical knowledge including planning applications infrastructure & planning agreements hearings and appeals compulsory purchase issues and planning due diligence.
