What Youll Do
- Hands on development position to build and deploy a mobile app that ties client software with mobile banking software.
- Work within a lean startuptype environment on an extremely fast paced and tight timeline
- Act as SME on best practices.
- Deliver within an Agile/sprint framework; participate in scrum ceremonies such as daily stand ups sprint retrospectives and sprint planning.
- Define tradeoffs between fast and longterm (identifying and communicating reusable vs. prototypelike methods)
- Regularly demonstrate progress.
- Advise and lead client consulting engagements focusing on technical architecture solution design and technology .
- Coach internal resources
- Simplify the complexity of client solutions by defining and adhering to guiding principles such as reducing the total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate and align with a wide variety of both internal stakeholders and external vendors ranging from executives to junior resources.
- 8 years of technical consulting or relevant software engineering and design experience.
- 4 years of experience in crossplatform iOS & Android mobile development.
- Extensive experience working with React Native and a solid understanding of nuance between iOS and Android (particularly form factor).
- Experience with projectbased work and demonstrated ability to act in a crossdevelopment team that is building iOS and Android solutions simultaneously.
- Experience being part of a team that includes contractors and fulltime employees.
- Experience leading a technical team of different levels code reviews and mentoring junior level developers
- Positive attitude and an ability to work well with client and Experient Group team members.
- Extensive and broad experience and best practices in software engineering custom application design and development infrastructure/DevOps cloud and data.
- Ability to evaluate define and when necessary prototype and guide development teams in a handson manner on alternatives to determine the best approach for a given solution.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel from technical to executive management and to influence stakeholders to get things done right.
- Must be a selfstarter enthusiastic and flexible.
- Must be Atlanta based.
Nice To Have
- Experience working with Vue.js.
- Experience working with financial/banking institutions.
- Experience working with the Camera API (Image Capture Processing and Optimization).
- Comfortable writing code as modular components to be reused across the application architecture.
- DevOps capabilities with experience creating and maintaining pipelines for deployments.
- Experience with unit testing and E2E Integration/Automation Testing.
- Ability to work onsite 2 days per week.
- Experience publishing apps to the Apple Play Store and Google Play Store.
