Strategic Commissioning Lead Adult Social Care
600 per day
Inside IR35
3 months initially
Berkshire
Hybrid Working
This forward thinking local authority is looking for additional interim support to assist with the commissioning strategy of adult social care. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Commissioning you will support the Director to drive implementation of transformation.
Your role as Strategic Commissioning Lead
- Management and oversight of the commissioning team
- Provision of guidance and support to Heads of Service
- Leading the strategy around commissioning performance
- Ensuring the service provides the best possible outcomes for people and improving value for money
About you as a Strategic Commissioning Lead
- You will be experienced in senior posts within adult social care commissioning
- Ideally experience at Head of Service or Assistant Director level
- Good understanding of the Adult social care
- Experience of providing strategic leadership within a local authority
- You will be willing and able to provide a site presence when required
