Position DescriptionThe School Psychologist role provides an opportunity for a talented educator to work with students with various social emotional and academic needs across Uniteds four campuses. The School Psychologist will have a number of key responsibilities including the following: conducting testing and assessments for students across grades K8; collaborating with teachers parents and other school professionals to provide insights and recommendations for individual education plans; designing individualized education plans to address functional and academic needs; and providing individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional developmental and behavioral challenges. Holds a valid Professional Pupil Services License as a School Psychologist from the State Board of Education in Ohio. Has at least two years of successful school psychology experience in an urban school (preferred).Knowledge and Skills: Skilled at providing direct support and interventions to students families and other school professionals. Skilled at working with school and district leaders to improve schoolwide practices and policies. Skilled at collaborating with community providers to coordinate services. Is committed to using datadriven instructional practices and the techniques outlined in Teach Like a Champion 3.0 to improve student outcomes. Is relentless in writing refining and internalizing curriculum lessons and assessments. Is open and committed to implementing frequent feedback from team members. Communicates effectively with students families and colleagues. Comfortability with Google products for effective communication and completion of job responsibilities.Terms of Employment Although this position will begin July 28 2025 applications will be considered immediately. This is a fulltime position. Report times are typically Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. although some jobrelated tasks can be expected outside of these hours. Salary: The starting salary for a new School Psychologist with a Masters degree is $51000. The starting salary for other applicants will depend on professional experience and education level.
