About the role:
We are seeking a Tech Lead to drive the migration from onpremise data warehouse to Snowflake. This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake Python and dbt with a strong background in technical architecture data warehousing team leadership and stakeholder management. You will lead the endtoend migration strategy ensuring scalability performance and security while working closely with business and technical teams.
About you:
To be successful in this role youll need:
- Lead the Migration: Architect and execute the transition of onpremise data warehouses to Snowflake in a structured efficient manner.
- Technical Strategy: Define the roadmap best practices and standards for Snowflake migration and data modeling.
- Data Architecture & Warehousing: Design scalable Snowflake data solutions ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Development & Transformation: Build and optimise data pipelines using Python and DBT for data transformation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of data engineers driving best practices in coding automation and cloud technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business leaders data analysts and engineers to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Performance & Optimisation: Ensure efficient data processing query performance tuning and cost optimisation within Snowflake.
- Good experience in governance and security best practices in cloud environments.
Youll be at an advantage if you also have:
- Background in banking or financial services
