Job Description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to enhance our testing frameworks and ensure the highest quality of our web API. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing automation tests and systems that help streamline our development processes.
He/She is selfmotivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability requiring minimal supervision.
What You Will Do
- Design develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright for web and indepth API testing. May also be responsible for developing and enhancing the automation framework ensuring scalability reusability and maintainability.
- Build optimize and maintain test automation frameworks for seamless integration into development cycles.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate best practices in automation into the development lifecycle.
- Identify document and track bugs as well as perform detailed regression testing.
- Analyze test results prepare detailed reports and present testing metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure compatibility of automation scripts across all platforms including different browsers and mobile devices.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery processes by integrating automated tests.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in QA automation.
- Solid experience with Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience with JavaScript or Typescript required or strong Java or Python.
- UI testing and functional testing experience is required.
- Experience testing SaaS or products strongly preferred.
- Expertise in SQL with strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and MySQL including writing complex queries joins and optimizations to manage database interactions and ensure data integrity.
- Individuals who can contribute independently take full ownership of their work and be accountable with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional problemsolving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills capable of collaborating with various teams.
- Adaptability in a dynamic superfastpaced work environment.
