General Manager Interior Define Studio SoHo

Were looking for a GM in our Interior Define Studio at our New York City SoHo location. As a fastgrowing startup within Havenly Brands our ideal candidate is eager to help us develop a highend personalized client experience in furnishing and designing a home they love.
What youll do:
- Sales: Supporting and upholding the Studio selling process from the first client touchpoint through to purchase and followup ensuring each client has an exceptional experience whether over the phone email or instudio
- Management: Managing and developing the instudio team members of Design Experts and Studio Associates to exceed sales goals and foster delightful client experiences; Ensure best practices are implemented to support the development and growth of the business.
- Raising Brand Awareness: Provide leadership to uphold the Havenly values and culture within the internal team; Plan and develop community events; Support marketing efforts across our Retail Brands
- Hiring and Training a Studio Team: Promote recruiting efforts and screen for local talent to create a dynamic and successful team; Train mentor and grow the instudio team to ensure each member maintains a high level of brand awareness revenue goals product knowledge and internal updates
Who you are:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is driven by growth and excellence with the following credentials:
- 4 years experience in sales management and/or hospitality design
- You have experience in building and leading a sales team to reach targeted goals within an exceptional client experience
- You have clear and effective written and verbal communication including the ability to maintain a positive and friendly rapport with your instudio team and clients.
- You are selfmotivated to learn new things discover opportunities solve problems troubleshoot ask questions and reach out for support when necessary
- You have a strong technical acumen including proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets and experience with Salesforce or a similar client management software. Knowledge and experience in design software is helpful
- You are excited about building an innovative brand that prioritizes an elevated customer experience; you understand the nuances of individual clients needs and can manage a project endtoend while supporting your instudio team to manage their projects successfully as well
- You can easily work crossfunctionally through close coordination with our sales operations HR and marketing teams
- You have a keen eye for design with an ability to discuss design dilemmas and provide product knowledge to support a clients confidence in their purchases
Additional Details:
- This is a fulltime exempt position based onsite in New York City NY.
- On target earnings of $per year 75/25 split between base salary and bonus based on achievement of sales targets and KPIs).
