Job Description

A wellestablished company located in King of Prussia PA is seeking a Sprinkler Designer to join their team. Preferably 8 years experience and a NICET II in Water Based Systems Layout. The company is a successful diversified familyowned business serving the fire protection community since 1957. This person will produce quality life safety designs that meet or exceed customer and industry standards and follow guidelines set forth by NFPA IFC IBC and local building and life safety codes. Job Responsibilities:
Develop fire protection sprinkler systems utilizing AutoCAD and HydraCAD with accuracy and attention to detail. These systems include wet dry preaction deluge and specialty systems; Review sold projects for clear understanding of scope of work and notify Project Manager and Estimator of any identified discrepancies prior to start of design work; Design systems that are within the scope of work as outlined in the sales contracts; Perform Hydraulic Calculations to ensure adequate water flow and pressures to operate the systems properly. Job requirements: 8 years of sprinkler design experience; Knowledge of AutoCAD or HydraCAD for Revit (preferred but not required).
