The position available is:
The Community Liaison Psychiatrist is an innovative program responsible for delivering psychiatry services for the Primary Care Psychiatry Liaison Service (PCPLS) in Western Sydney. The service works to help build the capacity of General Practitioners and Practice staff to better manage mental health issues in their patients.
In this role you will utilise Peer Workers and Mental Health Workers as part of the Primary Care Psychiatry Liaison Service multidisciplinary team to provide clinical and nonclinical psychosocial supports and service connections to people with lived experience of a mental health issue.
