Job Description
We are currently seeking Assembly Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform skilled assembly of mechanical components required to produce customerspecified enclosed drives and perform subsequent repair and rebuild service functions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Perform diversified light and heavy assembly of mechanical parts and components for a wide variety of both small and large enclosed drive units.
- Participate in field service calls to customer locations to tear down and analyze complex enclose drive units.
- Work from complex drawings and blueprints sketches; hydraulic electrical and mechanical diagrams; parts lists operations sheets specifications and instructions to plan work operations including sequence of work.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Keep required time and maintain productions records.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- High School degree desired or equivalent experience
- Prefer 35 years experience in a similar capacity
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required
- Use and interpret precision measuring instruments
- Good math language reading skills
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Visual Acuity
- Physical stamina and strength
- Some lifting of various weights both assisted and unassisted
- Drive and Operate Forklift; may be required
- Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
- Shop environment
- Responsible for the safety and cleanup of own area
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
