Description
ChildServes talented team of therapists specialize in pediatric rehab and work together to create plans specific to each childs need. In the role ofPhysicalTherapistyou will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to children in the outpatient service area of our Ames location.
Join our large therapy team and grow professionally through:
- An interprofessional team where you will collaborate with occupational therapy physical therapy psychology mental health and many other services to provide a holistic approach to care.

Benefits
This role is fulltime and eligible for health benefits includingmedical/dental/vision insurance paid time off and a 403B retirement account. PTO is frontloadedupon hire and starts accruing immediately.
As a nonprofit organization we also participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Schedule
- FullTime 40 hours/week
- Tuesday Friday 8:00 am 6:00 pm
What Youll Do
- Administer appropriate standardized tests/screenings/informal assessments/clinical observations.
- Adhere to the plan of care as written.
- Provide appropriate recommendations referrals and/or followup for each case.
- Participate in internal quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Assist in the research/development of clinical practices and competencies.
- Plan and prepare individualized creative and unique activities to meet each childs individual goals.
What Youll Need
- Masters level or higher graduate of an APTA approved physical therapy program and active license in the state of Iowa.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language.
