Job Description
Position Title: Smokys FOH Captain
Reports To: F&B Director
Employment Status: Fulltime/seasonal
Job Summary:
Seeking individual with a candoattitude ready to join the F&B management team with high energy and a positive work ethic. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills ability to provide solid leadership during slow and peak service and quick problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all assigned outlet ensuring excellent service standards are met within work areas
- Works closely with staff on food quality control and maintaining the smooth and sanitary operation of outlet
- Scheduling of staff and monitor assigned staff labor
- Have a clear knowledge of all duties and responsibilities of outlet with the ability to perform each position with clarity and accuracy and offer support where needed
- Understand the function and operation of outlet equipment with the ability to operate problemsolve and/or fix when needed
- Ensure a positive work environment with supportive and encouraging managing techniques
- Must demonstrate proven leadership skills and must be able to delegate effectively train develop and motivate staff along with the ability to effectively mentor key leadership positions
- Maintain open lines of communication with F&B Director management team and staff to ensure operational needs are met and policies are enforced
- Effectively communicates with all levels of employees guests and all other outside contacts
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years experience in lead role within the F&B industry
- Knowledge of all applicable county state and federal laws regarding food and beverage handling practices including applicable state liquor laws
Hours: 10am to 9pm (variable) including holidays and weekends
