Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and manage production planning systems to ensure optimal resource allocation and production schedules.
- Create and maintain detailed production plans considering inventory levels material availability lead times and customer demand.
- Collaborate closely with the production and procurement teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of highquality jewellery pieces.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and ensure ontime delivery.
- Analyze and improve current production processes to enhance efficiency reduce waste and optimize workflows.
- Implement and oversee planning tools and software to streamline operations and ensure accurate tracking of production metrics.
- Conduct capacity planning to align production capabilities with forecasted demand addressing any potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective communication between production sales and supply chain departments.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance inventory status and planning efficiency to support decisionmaking.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Production Management or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in production planning supply chain management or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning systems and tools with proficiency in software such as ERP systems or planning software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis forecasting and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments.
