Position Title: Shelter Veterinarian Saturday Only 8 hours/week)
Starting Wage: $60.00 $65.00/hour
Purpose of Position:
To provide medical care to the animals in PAWS shelter and in foster care. This position may involve performing surgical procedures such as wound repair emergency surgeries spay and neuter etc.

Controls over Work:
The Shelter Veterinarian is a member of the CAS Medical Team and reports directly to the CAS Lead Veterinarian and is expected to perform the established duties and essential functions without direct supervision.
Physical Demands:
The Shelter Veterinarian must be able to lift a minimum of forty 40 pounds. Surgeries examinations and treatment of animals may require lifting bending stooping pushing and other moderately strenuous activities. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time including working at a computer surgery table and prep table. Work is performed at the PAWS facilities.
