Job Description

POSTING DATE: March 21 2025REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS TO BEGIN: April 11 2025TO BE FILLED BY: May 30 2025 Fulltime certified Special Education Teacher for position in Lenox Public Schools beginning 25/26 School Year. Current Massachusetts teacher licensure in moderate disabilities PreK 8 or 512 required with additional credentials in reading preferred. Experience with design and implementation of specialized instruction coteaching curriculum modification for inclusion classes advanced training in reading as well as proficiency in diagnostic assessments and all aspects of the IEP process are beneficial. Must be able to work collaboratively with teachers counselors and program administrators on student and program issues. Masters Degree also preferred.COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A contractLenox Public Schools provide a generous reimbursement toward the tuition and fees incurred in pursuit of a Masters degree for educators hired who do not yet hold a Masters degree.Lenox Public Schools is committed to supporting new educators through a comprehensive induction and mentoring program that fosters professional growth and ensures a smooth transition into our educational community.Interested persons should submit a letter of interest a current resume three letters of recommendation and evidence of MA licensure.
