GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is actively seeking a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Buffalo Wyoming. This fulltime position offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled mechanic to make a real impact while working on automotive equipment and heavyduty vehicles. In this role you will be responsible for performing diesel and gasoline engine overhauls and tuneups as well as brake steering transmission and hydraulic repairs to ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition.

Qualifications


PREFERENCES:


Preference may be given to those who have completed any equipment certification exams skills in using fleet maintenance software and specialized automotive repair training.


KNOWLEDGE:


OR

Education:
Bachelors Degree
Experience:
01 year of progressive work experience (typically in Heavy Mechanics) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Heavy Mechanic
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Ability to obtain a CDL
