We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Operations team as a Quality Assurance Lead at our Glenwillow OH location.
As a Quality Assurance Lead you will oversee the QA area ensuring each order is packed to specifications established by our clients. You will be leading a team of 810 individuals to ensure picked orders are packed timely and accurately.
What you will be doing:
Implement and enforce policies and procedures for QA inspection and packing area
Manpower planning based on daily weekly monthly forecasted volume
Organization of the packing stations area
Ensure feedback for order mispicks is relayed to appropriate picking areas
Track and measure packing productivity
Ensure appropriate orders are packed to meet various carrier pickup schedules based on delivery type
Work closely with Inventory Control and Control Desk to resolve problem orders
Ensure your team has all the needed tools to complete daily workload
Training and retraining of packing employees as needed
Provide excellent customer service
Who you are:
Must have a High School diploma
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working in a warehouse and/or logistics setting or 1 year of experience leading a team of employees
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Advanced computer proficiency
Experience working in a directtoconsumer environment preferred
