Job Description
Are you passionate about transforming financial data into actionable insights NS2 Mission is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Tysons VA where you will play a key role in developing optimizing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines for a missiondriven customer. Your expertise in Python and SQL will be essential in conditioning and normalizing raw and structured data ensuring its usability and searchability within enterprise tools.
You will have the opportunity to work with cuttingedge technologies including AI models to enhance data fidelity and streamline data engineering tasks. Familiarity with Apache Airflow and Apache Hop will be valuable as you create efficient repeatable workflows to support the teams objectives.
Overview:
Success in this role requires both independent problemsolving and collaboration with technical experts data managers and operational stakeholders. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be critical for deploying scalable cloudbased solutions and knowledge of Kubernetes will be a plus. Additionally experience working with financial data or language translation models will set you apart.
In this dynamic position you will not only help condition financial data but also drive the adoption of modern data engineering practices. Your contributions will directly impact data processing efficiency laying the foundation for advanced analytics and decisionmaking. Required Skills:
- Python

- Experience normalizing raw unstructured and structured data
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
