- Bachelors Degree in Education Social Sciences Computer Science or STEMrelated field
- Experience and demonstratedskills related to data collection data entry management and the preparation of internal and external research reports documents and briefs.
- Proficient in statistics and experienced in the use of statistical software for data management and analyses.

This Research Assistantship (RA) is a fulltimeposition that includes managing data contributing to the programming anddesign of our data reporting mechanisms and performing basic statisticalanalyses across projects at PEAR. The position requires strong analyticpresentation writing and communication skills.
The Program in Education Afterschool & Resiliency (PEAR) creates and fosters evidencebased innovations in socioemotional learning (SEL) and Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) in youthserving organizations. PEAR provides trainings and assessment tools that inform educational programs and professionalsabout program quality in schools and afterschool settings. This position will work across PEAR departments with an emphasis on the interface between our SEL and STEMrelated research.
Responsibilities:
Guided and supervised by the PI and PEARs Manager of Research and Evaluation the RA will:
- Create edit and maintain survey documents.
- Coordinate SEL/STEM studies with external partners.
- Monitor and maintain databases and conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses as needed.
- Create and disseminate data reports for clients as needed.
- Basic experience with website maintenance.
- Perform literature reviews and create bibliographies.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with PEAR staff clients and other evaluation stakeholders to provide information related to trainings research projects and/or data collection.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
